Hey there,

My domain provider does not have an area in their control panel for me to create a subdomain, so I used cloudflare for this purpose. Unfortunately, CloudFlare told me to update DNS (subdomain) settings in the hosting provider, x10Hosting. I do not see this option anywhere.

What I want to do is to create a subdomain under my domain that links to another IP address not present on x10's systems. Please advise me on how to do so. Thank you.

Hi lightn17,

From cPanel, you can click the "Advanced DNS Editor" button to specify subdomains that point to a different IP address. Once you're on that editor page, you can just select your domain, and specify a new A Record for your subdomain.

If that doesn't help (and you really want to use CloudFlare), you can either click the CloudFlare icon on the cPanel homepage (and we'll do all the setup for you), or you can point your .ga domain to CloudFlare's nameservers and then add an A Record pointing to us (but you can't do this for your .x10host.com domain).

Thank you,
