Changing contact email?

Hi,
I have attempted to follow the directions for changing my contact email that is used to login to the backend of my site but I do not seem to be able to figure it out. The instructions I see want us to use the Portal: http://x10hosting.com/portal or http://x10hosting.com/wiki/Account_Management_Panel or https://x10hosting.com/portal/login.php. I've tried all of them and they all seem to lead to the Control Panel or do not have an option for changing the email address. The Control Panel doesn't seem to have an option to do this either.

I'm clearly missing something so if anyone could steer me in the right direction I would appreciate it. If the option is buried somewhere please let me know what buttons I need to press to find it.

Login, click "Account Settings", then change your password.

Tried that. However I don't see where I can change the contact/login email and the password change doesn't seem to stick either.

If I understand this correctly, there are two logins at x10, the Control Panel and the Community Forums. Each seems to have it's own login. While I can change my login/contact email account with the Community Forums side, I seem to have no way of doing this from the Control Panel side, only the password. At the moment, I don't care about changing my password. Am I doing something wrong or are we not able to change our Control Panel login/contact email account ourselves? Thank you.
