Changing Wordpress Site Url?

How do I change my domain from tilaarmyhotspot.tk/ to tilaarmyhotspot.com/ on Wordpress? my .com domain is already pointing to x10hosting nameservers.

Hi susanxox,

You can do this by first configuring WordPress to use your new domain name and then pointing your new addon domain (.com) to the directory where you have installed WordPress.

So this will work if I have my wordpress files in .tk directory? Or do I need to move my files over to the .com one?

Hi susanxox,

You can either move all the files to your .com, or you can change the Document Root in your Addon Domains to point to your .tk (so they both display the same thing).
