I need to know if my service free hosting account supports some server requirements in order to install and configure an opens source application.

FFMPEG 0.4.9_pre1 or higher http://ffmpeg.mplayerhq.hu Required to create video thumbnails
FLVTOOL2 1.06 or higher http://inlet-media.de/flvtool2 Required to insert video meta information
FFMPEG-PHP 0.05 or higher http://ffmpeg-php.sourceforge.net A PHP Extension required to get video properties length
GD 2.0 or higher
The version of GD bundled with PHP should be fine
http://www.boutell.com/gd Required to process images after upload
FREETYPE 2.2.0 or higher http://www.freetype.org Required library for captcha security image

I have lost a lot of time trying to install hwdvideosahare into my joomla platform, perhops the requirments are not supported in my hosting service.

Would you please check it up and tell me if the requirments are accomplished or not. Any comments on this issue I will appreciate ASAP.

I'm fairly certain what you're trying to do is against ToS anyways. No file hosting sites (that applies to users upload videos, as far as I'm aware.)

petty, any way.....How about the php config as follows :
PHP Configuration

• The PHP exec() function is required to start the video conversion process.
• The PHP Client URL (cURL) Library is required to get information about third party videos from websites such as Youtube.com
• In line with Joomla recommendations, the PHP safe_mode must be switched Off.

is php right configured? otherwise would you set it up as required??? If I need to do something just let me know to take proper actions, ok?
