Are there any restrictions on using the x10hosting service with a classroom? It seems that whenever I have more than a few students trying to use the service at the same time there are problems with account use.
I'm guessing this can easily be interpreted as one person trying to create and use multiple accounts since we all have the same IP address.

Hi mphtechc,

What issues are you experiencing, exactly?

It seemed that whenever an entire class tried viewing or logging into websites hosted here there were various problems, some which may have been resolved based on the recent status update that was posted. I'll be trying this again tomorrow morning between 9:45-11:15am EST. I'll follow up with specific error messages.

Please do. I'll attempt to keep an eye on your account tomorrow at that time, but I can't promise anything, as I'll be headed for the airport at that time haha

Things were a lot better today. There's one lingering issue with using the script to install or remove a website. After trying a few times it eventually works. When adding a site, this error will show up at times:

When we try removing the site, it seems to always leave the database behind and it typically does not un-install on the first attempt. These are not huge issues though.

Looks like I'm still running into the same issue. I just tried using the script installer and got the same error.

mphtechc, There is a limit to how many processes a free site can handle at a time. A process occurs every time a request is made to the server like when you load a page or click a link. If a entire class is on the site this would explain that issue I would only be able to confirm this during the time the class is using the site. How big is your class? I'll take a look at re-creating your install/remove problem.

mphtechc: I have found the problem with site/script installer and it is being fixed by a upper level support rep.
