CO.CC only for 1 year?

Hi Everyone!
Co.cc is one of the free domain online.
I check out my co.cc account and there is an expiration date.
What will happen to my site after 1 year?
Will it be gone in the wind?

You will have the option to renew the domain registration at the end of the registration period. Same applies to paid domain registration.

With .co.cc you have to either select Individual (FREE) or Company [some money] after a year. I would select the Individual one!

my co.cc domain died after a year, and I have registered but i say the domain is registered, maybe I must buy it if I want to continnue using it.

What it is is that you get your domain for one year without hasstle then after that you have to choose if you want your domain for "Personal Use" or "Business Use", for personal you get it free, for business you have to pay a small fee.

In most cases they dont check!

If you have ads on your site, or in other way earn money on it, you need to pay $3/year in renewal fees
