The seeker of truth approached the wise sage and asked:

"Oh wize one, I have done the deeds but I have seen no fruits of my labors."

The wize sage smiled and utterd:

"RTFM"

And the seeker of truth had a lot fewer questions.

but domain name might not work right away, sometimes they need 24 to 48 hrs to be updated on all the INTERNET dns servers....

many times I had to wait 24 hrs, sometimes longer (sometimes shorter)

doesn't it say something about that at .co.cc ?

this is an INTERNET norm, and it should be the first thing to take into consideration when a domain name doesn't work, please wait 24 to 48 hrs to see if the domain kicks in....

dns propagation can take up to 48 hours. Meaning it may take some time until the address correctly points to the IP of your account after setting the name servers

Try snooping around your site a bit before you claim it isn't there.

http://generalpromotion.co.cc/forums/

If you don't read the manual, you won't know where to look.

It was not a DNS issue. He was just looking in the wrong place.

I got the quotes in my earlier post from the Install and ReadMe pages on his site.

My url link keeps poping up in the .co.cc website where you can get a .co.cc domain I got to wait 24/48 hours to my website to pop-up like ladyanna said.

And I havent even gotten to install my forums yet...so how could it be there? The only way to get to the site is to its install.php link frist which is at.. http://generalpromotion.co.cc/forums/install/install_install.php

Well, when I click on the link I gave you, it ends up at the installation intro page on your site.

Did you even bother to click on the link I supplied?

I agree, his domain is now working, but the problem is he gave out the install URL and now anybody can run it....

I hope hope he does the setup right away as that is not a safe url to make public

In fact after running the setup, he should delete the install files

Just a word to the wise

But doesn't the install require his account password?

Anyway, the sooner this bozo installs his site, breaks the ToS with something or other, & gets banned, the better as far as I'm concerned.

I'm sorry to say that, but I've had enough of runeps' attitude in previous posts in this forum, & yet still he is here, consuming everyone's time with yet more endless requests for help.
