Confused on domain name not showing up

Maybe I am not waiting enough time but its been hours, about three or so i guess and it keeps saying "not redirected" on the domains page. when i click the new domain i want...definedbycolor.com it says index of cgi.bin and parent.directory. i dont know how to fix this..ive already been to namecheap.com and set it up there i hope but confused as to what to do next.

Your domain name has been configured, but it is currently pointing to /public_html/definedbycolor.com/. This is an empty directory, which is why you are seeing the directory listing.

If you would like your domain to display the same website as your main .x10host.com domain, I recommend that you remove your Addon Domain, and re-create it as a Parked Domain.

parked domain..okay. maybe i did this wrong..ill try it.
