Connect through ftp externaly????

Hi,
trying to connect through a external ftp but I am unsure of the hotname/ip address and the port. Is there anyway of finding this info out?

Hi pbnightp,

Your FTP host is the same as your main domain name, and the port is 21. Your username and password are the same as your cPanel credentials.

what would I do if I want to try and connect through SQL???? whats the port for that?

Hi,

You can connect to MySQL from your free hosting account by using "localhost" as the MySQL host. You cannot connect to MySQL remotely on free hosting.
