Hello everyone I have a small issue here. I have a mysql database hosted on one of my servers (with a static IP) that has numerous statistics for a game we play DotA :D

Currently I have a php script that allows the stats to be displayed on another external webhost. I have just purchased the x10prime and I am thoroughly pleased with the extra cpu/memory usage so I have decided to move the small website from being hosted here to my x10 host.

The subdomain I have for this is www.stats.teamphoo.tk and it will not connect. I think the problem may be that there is a firewall preventing me x10 from accessing the mysql server. I have already added the ip via cpanel... However, cpanel has failed to solve this problem (figures )

If there is anyway to fix this I would appreciate input, the original stats page may be seen here at www.omgstats.tk

Thanks

If you are trying to connect to a mysql database that is hosted with us, from a site hosted anywhere else, it will not work as that is disabled on free hosting.

If it is the other way around, the database is elsewhere and the script that needs to access it is with us, it is possible that other host have a similar block, allowing only inbound traffic to the database.
