With the permission of the moderators I would like to convert this into a sticky with complete instructions and steps on how to convert over to a "YourSiteName.co.cc" account.

I am having problems with mine and I will edit my top forum post to reflect a small tutorial.

Currently my account is seocoalition.pcriot.com

1. Created a co.cc account with the name coalition.co.cc
2. Changed DNS server to reflect x10host DNS servers

  1. ns1.x10hosting.com
  2. ns2.x10hosting.com
3. Wait anywhere from 24 to 72 hours for new DNS settings to propagate through out the internet.

Now here is where we should start the next step.

Choose one of the following:

  • Go to http://x10hosting.com/account and change primary domain names?
  • Does it make a different if it has the www or not?
  • Do we go to cPanel and park a domain?
I hope this will help all involved with this process...

Oh sorry. I thought you were making a tutorial. Didn't realize you were asking for support.

Doesn't matter if you set it as your main domain or park it. Do it without www.

And the name servers are ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com, not the ones you've posted above ;).

I've fixed his post to say x10hosting instead of x10host
That may be the reason why it wasn't working. :)

Well this is a little delayed but I am trying to fix the problem and create a tutorial at the same time!

So I need inputs from everyone so that we can get it figured out!

Ok so what do we do next!

I don't think that would be possible. sorry ;[

Anyways, it's a great short tutorial. It's useful for new webmasters.
