I haven't been able to access cPanel since uploading files still to be edited. Has cPanel been down during the past 6 hours or have I been locked out?

I'm very disappointed not to have any access to direct assistance as this is my first exposure to the hosting site. I need to verify access will be provided or to have the site onesteptest.x10.mx files deleted and the site closed.

Thanks in anticipation of assistance & response.

Thanks. IP sent by email as I'm unsure how to PM from this site.

You need to be logged in to this forum - then click on the big "D" in his post

look on the left side for [ Send Private Message ]

I have exactly the same problem:

a) cPanel not working
b) Can't find how to PM to someone (see attached picture - no option for "Send Private Message" on the left side.. )

Hi guys, cPanel is fully online and we haven't had any outages today.

Onestept - I found your IP address blocked by the server firewall due to many failed cPanel logins. I've removed the block to allow you access to the server.

Onestept - I found your IP address blocked by the server firewall due to many failed cPanel logins. I've removed the block to allow you access to the server.

Thanks for your help Bryon. You're correct, I had made several unsuccessful attempts to log-in, but had saved the password etc and when it didn't function I thought that it had saved the wrong password. So I tried all 3 passwords needed for various aspects of the site.

Although I agree that I may have contributed to the problem, it was quite a distressing occurence, given that I'd only signed-up hours before. Since you reset the access it went directly into cPanel using the previously saved password.

I've removed all files for the time being and will rethink whether or not to continue using the host site, but thanks again for your help.
