Hi,
I can login as cctalk, but when I try and access cpanel I get his error:
Internal Server Error
500

No response from subprocess ( (cpanel)): The subprocess exited with status 122 (EDQUOT).
cpsrvd/11.44.1.18 Server at xo4.x10hosting.com
Is this caused by the general problem the status blog refers to:

503 Errors on the free servers1 day ago
We are actively looking into resolving the errors most people are experiencing on the free hosting servers. We apologize for the inconvenience.

or is it because I have tried to upload too many files?
I am trying to upload 1.2GB of html in about 150,000 files, this is to create a clickable message archive for messages from 1997 to 2002 from cctalk. The official message archive is here:
http://www.classiccmp.org/pipermail/cctalk/
but it only goes back to Feb 2002.
So far I have uploaded around 50,000 messages:

Hi cctalkx1,

On free hosting, we have a general server-side limit on the number of files an account can store, which is capped at 50,000 per account, as have many other hosting providers. It seems that you have hit this limit, which is why you are seeing the EDQUOT error. :)

Our hosting service is primarily meant for web hosting and not file storage. Perhaps it may be best to upload your archives elsewhere, on a service that is designed for file storage? :)

Thank you,

Thanks,
I couldn't find a reference to the 50,000 file limit in your Ts & Cs. No worries, I'll try and find a file hosting site as you suggest.
Regards,
John
