So on my current network I cannot reach my cpanel server on xo7.x10hosting.com:2083, I think it's because port 2083 is blocked on my university network. I heard that https://cpanel.x07.. could work, but again fails. How can I access the cpanel?

Thanks

Hi Stewart,

Unfortunately the only way of logging in to cPanel at this time is by using port 2083. Could you ask your IT department to allow port 2083, perhaps?

Thank you,

Realistically they wouldn't grant it. Would an FTP client use the same path? Otherwise I will have to continue through the use of a VPN in that case.

FTP uses port 21. You should be able to connect using that, especially in a university.
