cpanel problem

Hello,
How are you. I am facing some issues which is really concern me.
when i login to the cpanel and it shows
"Sorry for the inconvenience!
The filesystem mounted at / on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operations have been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition"
this message instead of the cpanel. But i am sure i never crossed the limit of free hosting storage limitation.

what is happening. is the server hacked where my account is hosted?

just for your info i login to cpanel and see that all my database are gone. what's happening. sorry for the rush but can i know what happened to my databases?
