Create this CNAME for me

Hello admin,

I use the simple dns entry to create this "about.cloudwhen.x10host.com" about when open it in the URL it says "Domain document root not found." I have added a directory on my public root "about.cloudwhen" but it's not working.

How to fix this? Please see my other post here

Hi,

The solution here would be go to the "Subdomains" part of your cPanel, and then add a new subdomain called "about".

This fixes it because a "CNAME" record simply means "point to the same server as this one does", but our server still needs to be able to match your subdomain to your hosting account. Adding a subdomain will tell the server that you own it.
