Creating different account

Without going into details why I would like to shorten my current domain but I cant (not the issue) so that its a few characters shorter ... (easier to remember URL )

The Idea I had (and the whole point to this is to ask someone with this hosting company officially... would this be against the TOS) Basically my idea would be to create the new account with a shorter "id" (whatever you want to call it) as long as its (space wise, free, yearly "renewal", all the same CP applets ...etc) exactly the same THEN I WOULD (even if I have to do it from my end somehow) COMPLETELY remove my current account ... I am not having trouble with it ... for "my viewers" I would like to take a few letters off the name (which I have seen on some threads, you cant do with the custom free account)

I DO NOT WANT 2 "free accounts", and as I said If this is not against the rules and would get both accounts "in trouble" ... I'd remove my current account 100% and just use the new "shorter id'ed " account from now on

Hi,

We can change your domain name for you--we just need to to login to the forum account linked to the hosting account, and post what domain you'd like it changed to.

You can login to your linked forum account by going to the control panel, selecting "Get Support" and then "Community Forums". THere should be a link there to link your forum account if you haven't already.
