Hello,

I have been using x10hosting to test a company website i am working on but i am having a lot of issues. I am getting the error below for my wordpress website.

"Error establishing a database connection"

This happened before when the Cpanel changed to this new system and i was able to fix it by changing the MYSQL host. Not a big problem.

Today i have received a message from the company owner stating that the website is down again. I believe it is the same issue, however i am unable to access any settings in the Cpanel. When i try and get into my MYSQL settings the page takes forever to load and eventually i get the following error.

Either your request was invalid or the program hasn't completed your request. Please notify the server admin

A few minutes later i get a message in the Cpanel saying "Your login key has been created"

I have never used x10hosting before so i thought i would give it a try but have had problem after problem. I am now at the point i am going to try hosting the website elsewhere however i cannot do this as the Cpanel does not seem to work thus making it impossible for me to export my SQL database.....

Please can this be sorted ASAP

what is your website URL?
Cpanel is no longer available on free accounts, it is now directadmin.
have you been able to log in to the new directadmin ?

I'm sorry you are experiencing issues, over all service usually is stable, though it is free hosting and not all users are good at writing scripts some are just about learning and may unvoluntarily cause troubles with hogging resources.

The issues you had the other day was due to such event, mysql was overloaded and had to be restarted.

Some of the issues would surely stem from the switch from cPanel to DirectAdmin where there has been a bit of troubles with various services, we're working on improving and finalizing any problems that have risen after the migrations.

As for login keys, they will be created for each time you login through the SSO page, they are in fact what allows that connection so you don't have to type the password twice.

Hello,

I have come on to my website today and once again i am having the same error:
Error establishing a database connection

I understand that this is free hosting and i respect that. I am just using the free service right now for testing purposes with the idea of moving to a paid hosting at a later date.

I am still unable to access MYSQL to export the website.
