database error

Hi,

i've been trying to access my website - i keep getting Error establishing a database connection. i looked on cPanel and it stated that i have 2 databases - but when i click on the "MySQL databases" in the frequently accessed areas it states "There are no databases associated with your account"

I have the same error, looks like the hardware upgrade messed up something. I have noticed that we are linked on the backup server, then i change my mysql adress to 74.63.233.25 i get connected to the backup server with the old data.

The problem looks like this:

Access denied for user '*****_*****'@'74.63.233.25' (using password: YES) [1045]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

Should we still set the mysql connection to localhost or change it to something else?

i'm on Lotus.

i'm on Lotus.

You should always use localhost as host, as then you are always forwarded to the correct server as per the setup.

It is very likely that the databases are in accessible due to the hardware changes. I'll check with an administrator to make sure.
