database problem

I was shifting from another webhost, so over there I took a backup of my site along with th related database. I uploaded all the related files in my domain soumikbhat.x10.mx but am unable to upload/connect the related database. Can anyone help me as to how to upload the .sql database?

Import the data in phpMyAdmin, which is accessible through cPanel. The document on the phpMyAdmin wiki isn't particularly well organized, but there's not much to it: go to the Import tab, and the rest should be clear.

As an addition, please note that you would need to first create the database in cPanel together with a user that you add to that database.
