Database responsiveness extremely slow on int.xo2

Is it just me or is the database really slow? I'm trying to install some CRM software on it, but during the installation process, I get the following error:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'int.xo2.x10hosting.com' (4) in /home/********/public_html/myitcrm/include/ADODB/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 349
There was an error connecting to the database: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'int.xo2.x10hosting.com' (4)

I can access and use phpMyAdmin using cPanel just fine, but again, it's just really slow. I've verified my credentials numerous times, so I know it's not wrong in that regard.

Please could you ensure that you are using "localhost" as the database host?
