I am semi-new to this, but I have searched through the forums and read and done a lot of tutorials. My problem now is, that my site was successfully published with Dreamweaver, but the home page shows an index page. Yes I know that to get rid of the default page you have to delete your index.html, but I had already done that, and the index.html in the site right now is My Own, which I created on dreamweaver.

http://pcsource.x10hosting.com/

is my home page, when you click index is my actual home page. So sorta confused.

Another thing, my site looks like how it should on Internet Explorer (I mean how it looks through dreamweaver), yet whenever I open it in Mozila Firefox some changes arent' saved, for ex: the green navigation bar to the grey one. No idea why, Some Help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

high splader and welcome and for your index page to show up as default you need to make the capital I into a lower case i. So instead of it reading Index.html it needs to read index.html

IE is not quite standards compliant, FF is that is why you see differences ;)

whatever you are doing to color the grey is not standards compliant whatever method you are using you should use one that works the same in all major browsers.

It's just a suggestion, since not everyone uses the same browser for various reasons ;)

If I may make a suggestion, I think that site would look much better center aligned, since there is so much black on the right.

Are you sure? I just checked with IE8, Firefox, and Safari 4 here and they look pretty much the game.

He's probably changed his site now.

Earlier I reported that the bar was green in Firefox, but I'm seeing it as grey now.
