Difficulty in logging in from portal

I am trying to log into my account at https://x10hosting.com/portal/ . For some reason, it won't take what I believe is my username (or email) and password. When I click on the "I forgot my password" link, it prompts me for my email address, but when I enter it and click on the Send instructions button, it claims that my email address is not recognized. I know that it should be, because I get x10hosting emails on my regular email address.

Please help. This seems to happen from time to time, on a semi-regular basis, and I never seem to figure out what the problem is.
