I registered a domain name this morning and changed the DNS to :
ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com
Next, I used x10Hosting Basic to "Addon a Seperate Domain"
I receive the error "Unable to add the domain name − Unable to create addon domain. Please verify that it has been set to the proper DNS name servers."

Why am I getting this error?

Please could you tell us the domain name this is happening to?

I removed entries for Name server 3 and Name server 4 leaving only
Name sever1 : ns1.x10hosting.com
and
Name server2 : ns2.x10hosting.com

I still receive the same error. Do I have to wait some time for propagation?

Thanks

Yes, it takes a bit of time for the changes to propagate thru the Web. Try again in a couple of hours.

After waiting a few hours I still receive the same error message. I used cPanel to addon domain. That appeared to work in that the domain now appears in my list of domains. However, the url http://www.libertygeneralbaptistchurch.org still displays the default page from 1and1.com where the domain is registered.
Am I still doing something wrong?

I see a "Hello World" page.
Try clearing your browser cache and history. Close browser. Open browser and check again. You might also try flushing your DNS.

You are right. Clearing cache was not enough. I had to close and reopen the browser.
Thank you for your help :)
