Disk Full Problems

I'm not really a complainer or a whiner because this is indeed free and I don't really like posting here making more work for you guys so I apologize in advance.

The Disk Full issue has been a problem for about 24 hours straight this time and it has appeared off/on over the past week frequently it seems. I'm curious what the issue is beyond the obvious. Are you continue to accept new accounts on it? If so deleting 1-2GB at a time isn't really going to help it. Is it over populated with people abusing the TOS or are all the sites legal on it? If they're all legal I would suggest stopping registration on that server and/or adding some extra space to it if possible. If not you may have to acquire another server and split the accounts among the two.

Sorry to nag but I'm sure some of these questions are on the minds of many Stoli users.

Hello Caitlin, thanks for your query, we are working on fixing this issue as fast as we can, we have a lot to juggle right now and i know that the issue with Stoli is slowly being fixed, we have suspension scripts running for inactivity and we have also got the release of the new website and VPS services to deal with, within the next coming months we will have everything running smoothly hopefully.

If you have any major issues we do appreciate you telling us the problems so we can deal with them promptly.

Stoli disk should slowly become less full. We are terminating a lot of accounts that are abusing the service.

I thank you for your kind response Hellsheep. I understand the amount of work you all are dealing with at the moment and I wish there was something I could do to help. I had considered upgrading to a pay server but this is making me reluctant. It's now about 30 hours later and I am still unable to upload. I'm not sure if you script is removing accounts and then the space being filled back up immediately by users with their uploads on retry or if it isn't working properly. Again I appreciate the response but if I understood it correctly do you mean Stoli is going to be battling this issue for a couple months?

Hello, our paid servers are pretty much 100% uptime, the only time they go down are when we schedule downtime to upgrade servers etc.

Paid hosting is the way to go if you want a fully functional no problem site.

Stoli will not have this problem for a couple of months. From what i know of the Stoli disk isn't showing as full to me anymore.

If you are still having problems due to a disk full error, i may need to pass you on to a senior staff member or server tech to have a look into it.
