I am having the same difficulty.

Please search for similar problems before posting. It makes the job of support provider's easy. However the fact may be that sysadmins are probably on vacation.

What address are you using to access lotus through ftp?
Note that lotus has been upgraded in such way that all data has been copied over to a new server, currently by the name lotusnew (will be lotus once all accounts and data has safely arrived and the old taken offline), so if you use lotus.x10hosting.com you would likely be trying to upload on the OLD server which will be taken offline eventually.
Best practice is to always use your main domain as ftp host, as that will always point to the server that serves the sites to the we browser.

I do not know how long it'll take until it is back to being normal, instead of basically two copies of the server with different addresses.
For now, either change to lotusnew.x10hosting.com (or even better: user your main domain, that way you don't need to change it again when it goes back to being lotus).
Note that even if you could get it to work with lotus.x10hosting.com it would transfer the files to wrong server and the updated files would not be reflected on your website.

Do not use lotus.x10hosting.com --- this seems to get you to an old version of Lotus. Your changes won't show up anyway.
Use yourdomain.x10hosting.com --- this seems to work.
If you don't believe me, note the IP addresses when you use the two methods. At least on my friend's Filezilla, the IP addresses ended up being different.
