Depending on what server you are on xo# and what package you have. The basic only has 512 mb so you may be over your quota. Using cPanel file manager you can delete files that are not needed. Once under quota you site will work again. After that I think there is a way to get more disk space. But staff will have to take that request.

There are two causes of this. There is the storage or the maximum amount of files that are allowed on your account. If you have a lot of useless or not so important files of any kind, this includes emails) then try removing them.

Hi tancop,

This is being caused by your account exceeding our maximum inode (file/directory) limit of 50,000, as @caftpx10 suggested. Your account has approximately 63,000 files, whereas our free hosting service has a maximum file limit of 50,000, to prevent abuse. Please could you clear some files that you do not need, perhaps? :)

Thank you,

My server xo1
cPanel write unlimited disk space
Disk Space Usage 2.44 GB / ∞

I use the x10hosting for many years, and still had no problems with disk space.
I did not write new files, and suddenly got this error.
Many different errors, including access to phpmyadmin from cPanel

Hi Dead-i.
Thanks for the answer.
I will try to remove extra files.
Where can I see the current number of files?

x10hosting has started to enforced - a hard limit for the number of files a free-hosting account can store - which is 50,000 files or inodes (think folders + files + Email + other types)

you need to remove some files from your free-hosting account - to have a total count of less than this limit

Hi tancop,

Unfortunately there's no way of seeing your current number of files, as it is a hard limit in the server, but currently, your account is at 55,000 files out of 50,000. :)

Thank you,

Unfortunately there's no way of seeing your current number of files...
just a note...
on my other hosts - that have cPanel X3 - they have in the 'stats' a line for - current total files - and the limit
can x10hosting add this to cPanel - now that they are enforcing this limit ?
