Disk Quota Over Limit.

it's weird that I have 800 mb in my mail/cur and mail/new directory. Even more. Yet I have no such directories. Just mail/cgi-bin. I also get fatal errors when trying to access these "ghost" directories. I used to have 600 mb of databases and all files in my directories. What's up with this extra 800 mb all of a sudden? Can someone help me find what's taking up so much space in my disk quota and possible get rid of it? IDK what's in my mail directory. I can't see what's taking up space on my end.

Scratch that- I found the directories, can't access them still: No records/fatal errors occur. Those two "800" mb directories are taking up "12ish" mb in my cPanel. Can someone please find the source of this extra 800 mb bundle and get rid of it? It seems to be just mail.

User 'paint' is over quota.

That error happens when I try to login to my email account. It says 0/250 mb of quota. Made it unlimited just now to attempt to access it. Looks like I got "spammed" or something. I'm changing it back to the original 250 mb limit.

IMPORTANT: I deleted/recreated the email that had so much mb used. Yet I still have the 1300ish mb used. Whatever the source of mb that I'm getting from mail, I want it deleted. D:

It's also showing that I'm getting 0.0 mb per database and that I'm missing an FTP account, which I'm not. Is this a glitch?

I removed the mail files that were using up all the space.

The databases are reported as 0MB but they are not, ignore it. If you have an issue with an FTP account try recreating it.

I'm still getting 1017.88 / 1024 MB.

This is the disk usage summary I'm getting.

mail 887.75 Meg
public_html 113.61 Meg

other 0.54 Meg
tmp 0.30 Meg
/ 0.17 Meg
public_ftp 0.01 Meg

Now that's messed up. I have 600 mb used up with my databases and their respective directories. What's with the mail directory? _._ I can't find out what else is causing it to go 400ish mb over the usual estimate.

Edited: It seems as if it is the cur directory, according to cPanel.

However, I still see it empty when i go into that directory through the disk usage summary. It's interesting how cPanel picks it up as 800ish mb when it shows on the right of the file manager that the mail/cur directory is only 9.5ish mb.

I'm still getting 1000ish mb out of 1024 mb. First of all, I noticed that my cur directory, 800ish mb, is completely empty. Second of all, I increased the depth. It's 9ish mb, not 800. I cleared file usage cache in attempt to fix it, yet it shows 800ish mb.

That's 12ish mb, not 800. I want to add some items to my site, but I can't because of the quota. Are you sure it's estimating correctly? It's not on my end.
