With the free hosting option am I supposed to get 1G of free space? It is showing that I only have 512M available. Either way, is there any option to do a one time purchase for more space without doing an upgrade to premium hosting?

for new x10hosting's free-hosting accounts - disk space is initially limited at 512MB - Users may request (in this forum) for unmetered (not unlimited) disk space

The requirements for unmetered disk space are:
* The account has been active for at least 7 days.
* The account must be using at least half (50%) of it's current disk space allotment.
* The account must have a valid (i.e. working) website that follows the Terms of Service (TOS).

this upgrade is completely free

After you upgraded our account, the website will not load (and neither will the cpanel). Can you help with this?

It looks as though there were some brief problems on your server, xo5, yesterday. Your website and cPanel now look to be loading fine, but please let me know if you are still having problems with that (and if you are, please let me know what error message you are seeing).

I can't seem to find a hosting account linked to webbmaster2005. Please link your accounts (by going to Support in the top-right of cPanel, and choosing "Visit Forums"), or please provide me with your cPanel username. ;)

Hi Johan,

Thanks. It looks like your account wouldn't qualify for a disk space upgrade because
* You must be using at least 50% of your current disk space limit. Your public_html folder is empty.
* You must have a working website that complies with the Terms of Service. It looks like only email accounts on your account are consuming disk space, which will not count towards this.

You need to have a working website. That is what the web hosting accounts are mainly for.

You might get a faster response from a support member if you open your own thread. When you piggy-back a thread, especially one that has been replied to several times by a support member, it's easy to get overlooked.
