I must admit, I spent the first 18 years of my life in a church. In fact, I enrolled in college with the intention of being a preacher. I have since then changed somewhat. I am not an atheist, I'm more agnostic. I just don't care anymore. I am pleased that people find happiness and solace and religion, and I would never try to talk anyone out of something that could have obvious benefits. Though I do not believe in the teachings of the Bible, I know if you believe them, it brings you comfort.

But I must warn you, to say you can look around the world and see the glory of God's works is in the eye of the beholder. It is like miracles. If you believe in miracles, you can see them. You pray for someone with cancer and he lives. You see a miracle, I see a random event that happens to go the way you want. You must admit, the person could have just as easily died. And you also have to admit that saying unanswered prayers are the will of God is simply an insurance policy; anytime you pray and the outcome is opposite of that you pray for, it does not mean there is no God, it means God says no. I say its a random circumstance. If the guy dies, he dies. If he lives, he lives. Your prayers have no impact on the outcome. Of course, like I said, if you are a believer, you would feel exactly the opposite. You would feel prayer does change things.

I think the world is a beautiful and marvelous place full of wonder. I do not claim to have all the answers. However, because I do not have an answer does not mean I will accept an illogical conclusion. I say illogical because I am not a believer, I understand it makes perfect sense to you. It made perfect sense to me when I was a believer to, just like my lack of beliefs now makes perfect sense to me. When I was a believer, I couldn't imagine how people couldn't believe in God. Now that I'm an unbeliever, I can't understand how people do. lol. Believer, unbeliever, we should all embrace each other and try to make this world a better place. None of us are doing our part, and the world is quickly becoming cold and bitter. May you find the peace your heart desires, whatever that peace entails.

I personally find many of the stories in the Bible inconsistent and illogical. Now, most Christians (unfortunately I have to lump a very diverse and wide range of people and beliefs into one category, my apologies) would agree that at one point felt as if the stories had holes and inconsistencies, but due to their faith (Faith: belief that is not based on proof) these "plot holes" are overlooked or pushed out of their minds. I myself do not have the desire or ability to trust in a book or a god that may or may not exist. I cannot willingly give myself away in such a manner. Unfortunately, this also creates problems in my life, and is not exclusive to topics of religion. Some might say, that this is just an aspect of my personality. If my interpretation of the Bible is correct, in the end I shouldn't have to worry since this is God's plan for me and I do not have a choice in the matter. IF I believed in God and the Bible.

I was wondering, do you either tolerate love or hate religions?

Being religious myself, I am tolorant of the idea of religion. However, I do not support the idea of a multi-religous society.

I personallly belong to a religion but I was wondering how some people could find it offensive that people talk about Bilbical and Christian things in public.

Some people are opposed to certin aspects of each religion. This would be the root of their intollorance.

For example, I do not care for Christian 'preeching', but I do enjoy discussing Christianity.

Is it because the feel that these religions are trying to force their opinions on the general public?

That could be one of several reasons. Usually they believe that religious people are crazy because they usually believe in spooks in the sky.

Is it because that they believe that the Bible is just a book of fairy tales?

See above.

Also, If your an atheist, what turned you away from a religion?

I am not an Athiest, but many would consider my religion an Atheistic religion because we do not believe in the supernatural, nor do we believe in spooks, spirits and ghosts.

What turned me away from religions that promote such ideas is the fact that logic and science are in total opposition of these religions.

Where you not raised in a religious home?

I was raised Roman Catholic.

Do you think religious people tend to be hypocrates?

I often consider religious people hypocrites. Many are sincere, but they are hypocrites.

DO you view them as generally repulsive?

Generally, yes. Religion has manipulated the minds of many good people, turning them into sheep who follow blindly.

Do you have anything against a particular religion? If so, which one? Why?

Yes, I have many issues with ALL religions.

In a nutshell, the main problem that can be atributed to nearly all of them is the fact that they believe in spooks in the sky, which results in primitive superstition over-powering one's logic.

Let's start with the big three monotheistic religions - the religion(s) of Abraham:

Judaism:

The teachings of the religion of Judaism is disturbing to me. I fear that Judaism is the most vile religion to ever plague the Earth.

The Talmud is the most vile Anti-White religious literature ever produced. The Jews teach that White people are equal to Cattle (they call us Goy, which littlerally means Cattle). The Jews teach that they are 'a people above all other people of the earth" and that they are YHWY's Chosen race. Judaism, in it's purest form, is Jewish Supremacism.

The Jews are said to be the Israelites from the bible, but this is incorrect. The people we call Jews today are in fact Khazars - a Turkish tribe from eastern Europe. The Khazars converted to Judaism, and are not racially Israelites. There is a lot fo evidence to suggest that the true Israelites may be the White people of Europe. History sure seems to back this claim up. Do some research on the Scottish Declairation of Independance, a document that states the people of Scotland are Israelites. There are MANY other reasons to believe that the lost tribes of Israel are not the people we call Jews today.

If the people we call Jews are not racially Israelites, than they have no claim to the land in Palestine they stole from the Arabs in 1948, yet they use the Holocause and the Bible to justify their actions against the Palestinian people. So, in short, if the Jewish Bible was indeed proven to be true, then the people we call Jews today would not be heirs to the land of Palestine, let alone God's kingdom.

Christianity:

Myths. Pagan myths. That's right, Christianity is based upon Pagan mythology that dates back a lot longer than Judaism.

If Jesus did exist (there is no evidence that he did exist) than he was not a supernatural being who was sent to Earth by Jehova. At most, Jesus was a Jewish man who was a reformer within the Jewish religion. His story can be related to many previous cultural myths, such as Horus the Sun god from Egypt.

Judaism + Asian/European/Africa paganism = Christianty.

This religion has been used to brainwahs the minds of the European people. To "turn the other cheek", and to "love your neighbour" are suicidal things to do when in the face of danger. Modern Christity promotes multiculturalism and race-mixing - both of which are forbidden by God in the Bible.

I could go on for days, but those are some of the basics.

Islam:

Founded by a child molester and warmonger, Islam was another false religion of Abrahamic faith taht claims to be a religion of peace. With fundimentalism taking hold in the Muslim world, we see the ideas of extremism being promoted freely and to all of the Islamic world. Islam, a semitic religion, is alien to the European people of the world, just as Judaism and Christianity are.

It is a religion, like the other two previously mentioned, that is a direct threat to the continued existance of European culture and the European way of life (and by European, I generally mean White).

Islam is the enemy, at least, that is what the controlled media will have you believe. Islam is less of a threat than Jewish Supremacism. Th reason for this is because people of the Jewish faith (and their puppets, the Judeo-Christians) controll the media and will stop at nothing to smear Islam. How often do you hear the words "terrorist", "islam", "muslim" and "al-qaida" a night on the news? It's all just buzz word propaganda. The people in power use cheap labour to build up their bank accounts. We see it in North America with Mestizos from Central and South America. In Europe, the Zionist occupied Governments use Arabs as cheap labour. Just like the coloured races of America are the tools of the system, the same rule applies to Europe. The only thing is that it's not Europeans that are in control over these governmental positions, and if they are Europeans, they are puppets of the Zionofascists. The controlled media has an agenda, we all know that. We now must ask, why are they demonizing Islam? I can tell you right now, it's because Islam rejects the idea of a Zionist state in the Middle East. Period.

Sorry about all of these questions but I am just wondering why so many people find religious thinks in public so repulsive and offensive.

People are offended by religion for many reasons. For example, homosexual will be opposed to religion because most religion are fundimentally opposed to homosexuality. An athiest is opposed to religion usually because it goes against logic and science, and they ofthen feel that it is used as a mind controlling tool, used to do more harm than good.

Do you find religion in public offensive?

Yes and no.

Religion in public is offensive when that religion is alien to the hist culture. When that religion is being practiced by someone who happens to live in society that shares the same religious beliefs, then I have jno problem with it. I personally believe that multi-religious societies create religious tensions, and religious intollorance stems from that root source.

What about religion in the government?

In my religion, there is no seperation of church and state. We want to have our religion as the official state religion of all European nations. People that do not wish to follow our religion would then have the choice to leave or shut up.

In our coruts?

See above.
Do you believe that the ten commandments should be removed from our court rooms?

Yes.

Should the be permanently installed?

No.

Should our country totally ban religion?

No.

What draws the line between a religion you can tolerate and one that you cant stand?

The golden rule of my religion is:

What is good for the White race is good; what is bad for the White race is bad.

I will soon have my website uploaded, which is dedicated to my religion.

The followers of our religion are called CREATORS and our religion is called CREATIVITY.

Google us.

Nothing against religion, but I do have something against those who take it literally (i.e. fundamentalists). I see religion as what I'd like to call "old-fashioned science". People back then explained things primitively and with basic observation; additionally a standard of morals was formed in an era where there wasn't an effective system of law. What better to scare someone into doing good?

This is the first time i read someone has written the "truth" about what is going on in the media regarding islam, i really appreciate that

But about the way it has been founded, this is the first time i hear that, and i do disagree about that, ISLAM wasn't founded by Prophet Mohammad PBUH, it had a different way of being introduced to the world. And where did you get the idea he is a child molester??

You may not beleive in that religion or any other religion and thats your opinion and it is respected.

Al-Qaeda "religion is the name and politics is the game", and they were created to fight the soviet union in afghanistan, after that they are no longer needed, but they became powerful which necessitated attacking them, as they became a threat. And they also hold the stick (religion)from the side they like, manuipulating islam to serve their political views.

about the Israeli's i have little information about that, but according to what i have studied they do have a special pattern in their DNA that makes them a race and it is used in modern medicine as a method of identification

and about the Jewish Supremacism, it is true, as they did know that a prophet was being sent to the arab island, they migrated their because they thought he was supposed to be one of them, when they knew he is an Arab they refused that religion and started fighting its existence.

Judaism is a religion of money
Christianity is a spiritual religion
Islam is a mixture of both

Dexter or eminemix or whatever you want to be called, I agree. The phrase "Do what I tell or go to Hell" has had a major role throughout the world's history.

My mother's a Christian, so I grew up going to church and listening to Bible stories. I don't really believe a whole lot of it though, it's really not plausible and some things are inconsistant. I don't go to church anymore, I find the sermons boring and completely useless. Plus the pastors in my church tend to repeat themselves a lot, making them even more boring.

Here are some facts, most come from the History Channel.

Fact:
The bible was indeed written by human hands. Also human hands have altered the bible so many times. Due to either to suit their own needs or for translation purposes, and everyone that's watched a dubbed anime knows there is always translation errors.

Fact: During the time of King Henry VIII, the bible was written solely in Latin. Most people could not read latin and trusted the preachers to "translate" it for them during their sermons. This means that they could interpret the bible any way they wanted to turn the public into their sheep. This was probably the reason for the crusades and stuff, IMO.

Fact:
King Henry VIII ordered the bible to be translated into the common language of his people. This angered the church alot (This is coming from the History Channel again), because they couldn't say anything they wanted and the people still swallow it.

Getting off of history, and into the now... I live in a VERY Baptist community and I don't like it one bit. Many are hypocrites. For example, while I was in high school. The same teenagers that treated me like trash because I didn't act like them faithfully go to church every sunday. They are also extremists as Halloween is practically banned in this town because of the "All Hallow's Eve" myth. For those of you that don't know, All Hallow's Eve is supposedly the night where the dead could walk the earth. This is most likely mumbo jumbo, because if ghosts do exist, then they walk the earth every single day.

Yeah, I thought everybody should have their own freedom to choose what religion they like and not to be forced or coerced to accept any others.

That's all good and stuff, but it doesn't explain why the bible says "Love thy neighbor as you love thy self." But then have predjudice against homosexuals and non-christians. Isn't that kinda hypocritical in itself? I'm a Christian but I'd like to believe that God will welcome all, who try to treat others well and do the right things in life, with open arms.

I am an atheist.
I was raised in a family where there was no religion being taught.
I did go to all the neccasery steps to be a christian (baptist etc.)
I always loved the story's from the bible that they read out in church here in the netherlands.
It can give u a nice idea about right and wrong if u do not have your own common sense to fall back on.
I think there is something that we can describe as god, but i don't believe in god the way that the vatican wants us to believe.
I mean in the bible it states that worshiping statue's of a holy person is not allowed, niether that we should believe someone who claims to be the spokesman of god.
Every priest says he is ... while this conflicts directly with what the bible teaches.
Then there is also a lot of controversy regarding the new and old testament.
The old one talks about murder (when it is allowed) and about more evil stuff.
The new one doesn't one word. Then next to that jesus is nothing more then a figure which was given to the sun, just like the sun god ra of the egyptions.
If u are interested in religion and where it came from u should really see zeitgeist.
http://zeitgeistmovie.com/
They should air this on tv in all languages, this should be knowledge that everything should have the option to get and learn.

So all please look into this video and i hope u enjoy it.

No offense, but.. snore.
What really makes me dislike religion is that people won't stop trying to force-feed it to you. Also religion is one of the most common causes for war.

I turned away from religion because i guess god and all that stuff of the bible was created by the own man and it has been taked very seriusly, and now lots of "ignorant" people plea to some kind of person who doesnt exists trying to get eternal life.

To my guess: religion = ignorance

First a clarification: I personally dont believe in god.

I would like to make a small point.
Science dosnt tell you that god dosnt exist, and even today there are so many things that no scientist can explain. Infact the more you study physics, the lesser knowledgeble you feel.
For example you may laugh at the concept of "heaven". You may argue how can there be such a place where you dont age, or feel hungry? You may be surprised to learn that it is very well possible, within the rules of physics!
We all are familiar with the Big Bang. It is that event which created, not only the universe but also space and time itself.
Time simply didnt "exist" before the big bang nor did space.
Now imagine you somehow manage to "move out" of our universe. For you then, the coordinates of space-time we use wouldnt apply. Time would stop for you! You wouldnt age, feel hungry, thirsty, [no time no metabolism!] in short you would have reached heaven!

This is just one of so many examples with would cause any religious man to reaffirm their belief in god and a non believer to simply wonder, how much has man left to learn!

@TheKlassanSociety:

Alright, Just simply stating but, you are worried about Judaism being about "Jewish Supremacy", and yet, quoted directly from your site : "Creativity is a religion that is dedicated to the survival, expansion and advancement of the White Race.", as well as consistently reffering to the "White Race" as natures finest, and natures elite. Is that not white supremacy?

Take this example. That line right there could be interpreted many ways. The reason that I find it soo disturbing is that, if you are dedicated to the survival, expansion and advancement of white people, and a black person gets a job that could have been given to a white man, then wouldn't your "religion" dictate that you kill the black man so that the white man can expand and retake that job? Wouldn't that make you no better than the KKK, or the pre-Civil War Confederacy?

but, on the topic of the OP:
@OP:

No I have nothing against religion, I am a Christian, and here is the way I see it.

If there is a God, and you don't say you believe in him, then you go to Hell, or Purgatory, or wherever.

If there is no God, then what does it matter, the same thing happens to everyone in the end anyway? Why not try to make the world a better place to live in while you are here? What is wrong with being kind to your neighbor?
