@ mohaakilla, the second part of your statement is something that I strongly refer back to on the nights where I lay in bed and wonder if its a lost cause... [/@] Anyway, I think there are two main laws that God has for us:
1. Love others
2. Love God
If we do these things then there will be no need for the 10 commandments, because if you love others then you wont kill others. If you love God, you wouldn't worship any other God. Many people complain about all the ruels associated with religion. These are the only 2. No more no less. If you do these two but you still smoke, drink, eat "unclean meats", etc. etc. God wont care... Those ruels are simply for our personal benefit, just like a doctor will tell you that smoking is bad for your health. These ruels are to help us enjoy life. But if you get pleasure from smoking then, its your decision and It wont keep you out of heaven. I agree, it bugs me when anybody tires to force anything down anybodys throats...Anyway, I can't believe that this thread is still alive lol keep it coming, this is a really stimulating conversation (at least for me)...
