dodgy hosting or forums? or me!

ok, i have downloaded and uploaded a forum to my site (external) and have i think 15 members now. to my view everything on the forum works fine and so does it to 13 members. but 2 have said that they need to refresh the page 4-5 times to bring up the link they clicked on. I have also been told by somebody that when they try to register it wont let them! it just comes up with a white screen. this constant need to refresh is lowering their will to post and so the forum is failing. Now i dont know wheather this problem is to do with hosting (x10) of the people i have the forum from (Simple Machines) can anybody help??
