Does it break the ToS to make a website like YouTube?

Hello,

I am in the process of building a website on my PC which will be similar to YouTube, only without all of the ads. I was wondering, does it break x10hosting's Terms of Service to have a website like this?

It would be allowed under the Terms of Service if all the videos' sizes add up to 1GB and they were all uploaded by you, and related to the website.

It would not be allowed if you allowed users to freely upload videos to the site, unrelated to the site.

Ok, so what if I have the videos hosted on my own private server and use a redirect url to my server, will that break the ToS since the videos aren't uploaded to x10hosting?

That should be fine, assuming the videos were related to the site.

I think you would struggle without FFMPEG anway.
