Does my a/c still exist?

When I failed after several attempt to access my cPanel, I tried to log in my a/c URL. Then I was asked to link my a/c to this forum by entering my user name. After doing that, I got the message saying -

Confirmation E-mail sent, please check your E-mail and follow the instructions.

But I haven't received such mail as of yet.

Would any one please help me?
