I registered zmfd6sz4mp5jzp48.elementfx.com on Monday and the DNS just locally settled this morning but I still get a domain does not exist page at the new IP. Its like the site was never initiated. I have access to cPanel but FTP and HTTP are not active.

Anyone have any ideas for a solution?

We were having some issues with one of our Nameservers, but this should be fixed now.
However, it may take up to 24 hours for DNS to propagate across the internet.
You can try speed this up by following the instructions at http://x10hosting.com/wiki/Cache

At about 16:30 2013-02-28 UTC

with URL --> http://zmfd6sz4mp5jzp48.elementfx.com/ - I see "Index of /" and other stuff
have you put any files in your account yet

As for your FTP issue - what is the host name you are using and which FTP client ?

Your server is [ Absolut ] which has had some FTP issues for the last few days - but you can still use it

You wouldn't know the new IP would you? I have a non-negotiable fixed deadline for the project that I am using the hosting for. I don't mind putting an entry into my hosts file.

I am using Dreamweaver's FTP client and have not added anything. I just got access to the FTP. I saw only an empty cgi-bin and a .ftpquota before.

The IP for the server with your account is 198.91.81.2
Currently both of x10hosting's nameserver point to that IP.
From a quick web check, that IP seems to be returned by all the nodes of the Web.
Remember to clear the browser cache and flush your DNS.

I managed to clear everything up. Apparently one of your admins incorrectly configured the Domain Does Not Exist page to use a 301 when it should be a 302.

There is however another issue. The Absolut server has run out of disk space. Could someone fix that?
