Hello x10Hosting support or anyone who can help,

I've been developing on a free x10 hosting account to create http://lesalon.x10.bz

I wanted to add a domain to it so upon purchasing lesalontoday.com from GoDaddy, I tried to forward the domain.

Forwarding the domain with or without Masking breaks mobile responsiveness and if you visit our page on mobile you get a desktop view of the website.

I've changed the DNS servers on the GoDaddy account and from I've tried forwarding from GoDadddy to x10 and x10's panel to GoDaddy. Online ressources say that Domain mapping or adding A records would be the best option. X10 doesn't seem to have domain mapping.

Lastly, the suggested <meta viewport > .. tag is already in the head of my template so this is not a solution.

Please Help, Thanks.

Actually masking from GoDaddy.com with Forwarding is what breaks the mobile responsiveness.
It adds new <head> tags with a site title and puts the rest of the website in a frameset where the meta viewport tag doesn't respond.

So forwarding without Masking works, but it shows lesalon.x10.bz on the url when you visit lesalontoday.com

How would I change the visible url?

Hi,

In the "Domains" section of cPanel, please click the cog next to lesalontoday.com, and choose "Manage Redirection". Then, please select "No redirection for the domain.", and click "Update Redirection". ;)

If you are using WordPress, you will also need to update the Site URL in your WordPress settings.

Thank you,
