I have a question.
Let's say I registered a domain somewhere other than x10. Would I be able to move it over here, use cPanel and still use my other free account?
I want to know before I make any moves.
Thanks

Yes you can. Register a domain, add it to the account panel and you can certainly use it. See i have my site as www.sunils.co.cc, though its a subdomain, its not registered here. I added it my account panel.

During my initial days here, my site address was sunils.x10hosting.com. Now if you check that, its says domain available.

I think i answered your question.

What I am saying is can I have
blahblahblah.x10hosting.com
and
blahblahblah.com
if both have different content? (2 totally different sites)
I want one for something and the other for another thing.
(I used blahblahblah as an example, those are not my sites)

Yes. Save your x10 address as your primary address and set your domain ( whatever.com ) as an add-on domain. :)

I thought that you had to park your domain. I thought that a parked domain went to the same folder as the name.x10hosting.com address went to, whereas an addon domain was like a subdomain, using a separate folder.

That is correct. They asked :

So in this instance, they would use Add-On, not Parked.

I have a add on domain leading to my root folder so I can't see any problems with that
