Hi there,
I have an email account associated with my web site:- fixturesecretary@nkelsey.x10.mx
This has been pasted from my CPanel.
However, when I try to send an email to this account it bounces as the address is unknown.
Is there an issue with email?
regards,
Allan

Here is the report I get:-
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain nkelsey.x10.mx by aspmx.l.google.com. [2607:f8b0:400c:c03::1a].

The error that the other server returned was:
550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. Please try
550-5.1.1 double-checking the recipient's email address for typos or
550-5.1.1 unnecessary spaces. Learn more at
550 5.1.1 http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?answer=6596 bh5si4181624vcb.56 - gsmtp

Does this mean that Google is blocking access?
Still can't send or receive from within Webmail

Hi--

Your email is not hosted by us. Your MX records point your domain to Google, meaning that you should be creating the email accounts from within your Google Apps admin panel. Any changes you make on the hosting server here have no affect on your actual email.

while I 'see' [ nkelsey.x10.mx ] in your MX record - it has a preference value of [ 20 ]
for more information of what is in your MX record - see --> [ https://www.whatsmydns.net/#MX/nkelsey.x10.mx ]

in cPanel x3 (not 10hosting Basic) --> Mail --> MX Entry - in [ MX Entry Maintenance ]
delete the Google lines
edit the [ nkelsey.x10.mx ] line by setting the [ Priority ] = 0
when you are finished - there should be only one line [ 0:nkelsey.x10.mx ] at [ https://www.whatsmydns.net/#MX/nkelsey.x10.mx ]

Thank you so much for the advice which worked!
I guess the MX settings were leftover from the time we had to use Google SMTP for emails.
Thanks again for coming to my rescue.

Hi again,
What drew my attention to the email issue was none receipt of emails that senders claimed they sent! ... it is a Tennis League site and Captains send in their results by email... but none were being received...
I thought that the issue had been resolved when I followed the responses and indeed the email system works for me... but not for the Captains, apparently!
Could this be a location issues... because I am in the USA and they are in the UK?... could there be some other reason?... maybe permissions?
thanks in anticipation!
