EMAIL Sending Problems

I am running drupal 5.5. Emails where getting out yesterday during the day, but last night they stopped getting sent. I also sent a test email to one of my email accounts from work, and it did not make it through.

Any ideas?

Do you get any errors? Have you checked your spam folder?

I checked the logs from drupal and did not see any errors. I also do not get any errors when poping the account and the test email I sent from work is also not showing in the account using the webmail client either. Nothing went into spam folders either. I also sent another test email from a different domain at work. Again, no email went through and no bounce back message either.

go to the cPanel and press error logs. Maybe something is written there.

I have a very similar problem. My website requires new users to register an account, and the registraion process is supposed to send out an email with the link for the confirmation.
In the last days all the users trying to register a new account NEVER receive the email, so that they cant confirm and enter the site. I dont know when this started, but probably more than a week ago.

What is the problem ? I havent modified anything in the configuration and it was working correctly in the first days.

PS: now the email feature is disabled so that users can register easy, but I would like to put the feature on again.

i m using php mail for contact us script it was working fine but now when i send mail i got an error message "error to sending mail". when i use smtp
(smtp server as mail.12help.elementfx.com, smtp user as admin+12help.elementfx.com and password as my webmail password. my web mail is admin@12help.elementfx.com and my site url is 12help.elementfx.com) igot an error message " There was an error sending your message: Failed to connect to localhost:25 [SMTP: Failed to connect socket: Connection refused (code: -1, response: )]"

when i use web mail for sending message i also got same error. in webmail i have set my default identity admin@12help.elementfx.com.

all of my mail script worked well problem only occured at last night.


so please help me how to solve my send mail problem.
i m also unable to send email from yahoo and rediff to my email address admin@12help.elmentfx.com.
i got failure delivery mesaage.

please please help me

Server replied: 111 Can't open SMTP stream
