Hi, I just opened up a new online search engine for Rapidshare, Badongo, Sendspace, MediaFire and 4Shared. You can now find thousands of files through our LIVE database that follows live upload feed from all of the major hosting networks.

Need a file? Search it, and download it faster than ever.

Another cool feature that we have added to Enchanted Quest file searcher is "Checked" search. This feature allows you to only search approved files.

Approved files are files that are two things:

1. Legal files- this means that it is not torrent, warez, or stolen material.

2. It doesn't contain any harmful malware or trojans.

I should also let you know that we do try to delete all of the illegal files, but it isn't possible because the database is live and at any given moment a user could upload something such as Adobe CS3 package, ect.

We have staff that delete MOST of the illegal files, but the main thing we try to delete is pornography.

Anyways, just let me know what you guys think. Also, I know the webpage is very simple, this is because we are recieving alot of traffic at the moment and we don't want to overload the server- and does looks really matter? I mean, people are trying to find files- we believe it should be a fast process and not a complicated site.

although I would shift it down a little bit, since the first things i see is the tagCloud; 2/3 rule if i remember correctly would be the term for t

Hey thanks for the fast reply! Your right about the page being a little bit to much together, but the reason for it is that there will be small adsense adverts in between some of the things to add extra networking.

It won't be huge popups, just enough to get me listed on Google quicker.

-edit-

I had to take Badongo and Sendspace off the search until in the morning. They have a spammer (or a group of kids) posting tons of porno from the same source.

Good thing though- it gave us the idea to add a ban list for sources. So, IF the problem continues to exploit our database then we will add a ban list to prevent rss feeds (sources) that are uploading nude content or massive torrents to show links on our site.

Is this hosted on x10? If so, rapidshare, and warez in any form is violating the tos. How do you know if it is "legal" or not???

First of all let me begin by saying I am a VIP user so, of course the site is X10.

Is this hosted on x10? If so, rapidshare, and warez in any form is violating the tos. How do you know if it is "legal" or not???

Okay, now let me get to your senseless remark..

Are you kidding me lol! First of all Rapidshare isn't a form of warez. And, our site does not redistribute nor do we promote the sharing of such files. In fact, we have deleted numerous files and even taken whole networks offline in the attempt to resolve the issue of illegal files being leaked into our site.

And, IF we did not take action to prevent such links from appearing on our site then I believe it wouldn't be a big deal anyways. ANY search engine will contain links to illegal material. Even the mighty Google has links to bad material, but does that make Google illegal? No, because Google is a search engine. Same as our site is a search engine.

I have read the TOS agreement and there is nothing about search engines being agains't the TOS and if after reading this post x10hosting decides to add such a thing then I will be assume full refund for my already paid amount because at the time the website was established there was nothing about search engines being banned.
Edit:

Website has been taken offline. I am moving this project to a new server, but I will continue to use x10hosting for my other projects.
