Hi

i just become a member the other day and transferred from a different server to yours and when i access a file on the website I keep getting a 403 on a file that is set to 777 and in a 755 directory.

Is there a reason for this and is there a way to gain the permission to that file?

make sure all file permissions are 0644 (rw-r--r--) and all folder permissions are 0755 (rwxr-xr-x)

IF 'permissions' set on any folder or file - in your account - are [ 777 ] - that makes a large security risk - so a x10hosting's free-hosting server will throw an immediate "Access Denied" (403 error code) error to protect itself

the file permissions are now 0644 in 0755 directories, same error.

Hi Lucas,

Please could I have a link to the page showing the 403 error?

Thank you,
