Error 503 when upload a pick with Wordpress 3.8.1

I have a few days to detect this problem uploading any photo with wordpress

503 Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily busy, try again later!

ya its a known issue. now theres a new one present: to many sql connections

Can you guys confirm that your images are being uploaded, but thumbnails aren't being created? That's what's happening on my test installations. It gives a 503/HTTP error, but does upload the images.

how do i confirm. Because that's exactly what's happening, I go to my media files an I see a blank thumnail image with a REEAAALLY small dot.

Install and activate this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/installation/

It's a temporary fix.

You can also run it as a bulk action on your images to regenerate the thumbnails.
