Hello,

received on December 6th 2021 a warning that my account will be made inactive unless I sign in

Went to sign in, performed a password reset from
https://x10hosting.com/login
to my old password actually

FIXED: shut down Opera's VPN as I read in another thread
and received the E61081C388A75DD7B error code on log in, sending me here. Tried two more times, and got two more different codes: EBCFCC33EFCCB17AC, E48A5542EB0C6C65B

used to work but doesn't anymore:

the new address https://x15.x10hosting.com:2222/CMD_LOGIN goes ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

doesn't work for me (guess it's for premium clients)

sais "Error" and that's it

FTP client goes "access denied"

Actually been locked out for a while now from ftp client access, having a problem last time I tried where I could upload from online interface, but not ftp client

Didn't test back then if it was fixed since I got my upload through

My site is still up so that's good

On 12/5/21 I get an email from x10hosting, subject "Service Near Inactive Date" (I login at least once a day)
The contents read:

Dear x10hosting user,

Our records show that your account has not been logged into recently, and it will be marked as inactive soon. To avoid any service disruptions, please log in immediately to your x10hosting user dashboard and your account will automatically be updated as active. Please note that the x10hosting free account terms of service require users to log in every 30 days to the x10hosting user dashboard. If you are logging in via FTP, e-mail, hosting control panel, or any other method besides the x10hosting dashboard, these logins do not update your status. Please note that our low cost premium hosting services are not subject to login requirements.


Today is the 7th ... I hope my service doesn't get cut off.
Maybe it was a glitch.
I login to both this Forum and my File Manager over 20 times a week.

There is no glitch. As the email states you must login to the x10hosting dashboard as per our TOS once every 30 days to be marked as active. Logins to the FTP / file manager do not count. The dashboard is linked in the same email : https://x10hosting.com/login

IP was blocked for failed SSH logins.
