'The web site was working after migration. But now I get a

"Error establishing a database connection"

message on wordpress site

I can connect to cPanel but going to phpmyadmin gives "

#2002 Cannot log in to the MySQL server error

when I try to access the mysql databases from cPanel I ge the message

The MySQL server is currently offline.
Error while connecting to MySQL: Couldn't connect to /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock: connect: Connection refused"
