error when accessing control panel

Hi there i signed up yesterday and recieved the activation e-mail etc and i can sign in, but when i goto my control panel on the account after login in it comes up with an error and says to contact you, and or redo my account signup

it won't let me coz the e-mail addy is in use via the first time i tried to sign up


and how could it not be setup by now when last night they sent this

but i have already signed up with this e-mail just for this account you expect me to do it again because the process was not completed propperly, why can't the old one that i orginally did be deleted so i can use the e-mail addy i have to sign up again?
