Excessive data usage pay to disable?

Hi,

Would it be possible for you to introduce an addon so that we can pay and we won't get suspended when we use too much cpu?

I really don't want to have to update PhpBB manually

How do you plan to get the addon then?

Upgrading PHPbb3 isn't that hard to do manually. You just backup, upload new files (overwriting the old), and run the upgrade.

I've got tonnes of MODs installed, one of which has about 12 hours of tweaking.

Upgrade it on localhost using wampserver.

Export database and files to your localhost, run it there, upload it back up

Surely that would use the same amount of resources on the server anyway?

He's saying download everything to a local server, and run the upgrade from there.

That way your resources will be used, and not the server's.

Downloading and reuploading will use resources is what I meant.

Yes, but not nearly as much required to install and etc. All you would have to do this way is dl then spend the time to upgrade it on your localhost, then upload it again some odd number of hours later
