Hello,
Today when I tried to install new plugin I found a 403 Forbidden Error. WP-ADMIN > PLUGIN > ADD NEW and also for the page WP-ADMIN > PLUGIN > PLUGIN EDITOR.

I have tried to resolve the issue by deactivating all Plugin ... NO HELP... Then I checked the directory. And reset the plugin-install.php permission to 644... NO HELP... I suspect that it is an internal error in the file system. Previously I was using PRIVATE HTML folder for WordPress. But according to an online blog recommendation I changed the settings at EDIT DOMAIN > PRIVATE HTML SETUP > "Use a symbolink link from private_html to public_html - allows for same data in http and https" and unfortunately HaVE LOST all my data. Then I installed WordPress again and then connected with my previous database. BUT NOW AGAIN HAVING THIS PROBLEM.

You may Find this page showing you 403 error : https://carbon.tk/wp-admin/plugin-install.php while this page redirects you to login page : https://carbon.tk/wp-admin/plugins.php

To see the actual 403 error you need to be logged in as it is a page not accessible without perms (admin usually). I have taken a look and corrected a couple permission errors that may or may not have impacted this issue, can you please try?

As for the issue of losing data, that would be due to the change you made which technically removes the folder called private_html and replaces it with a link that leads to public_html, it is unfortunately not reversible (as in you can not get the data back by changing back the setting). I is always a good idea to make backups before doing any bigger changes in how the site is displayed.

Thanks for your cooperation. Can you please point out me how can I overcome future permission errors. ( As it occurred automatically I think) . And can you please increase my alloted storage quota.

to increase the allotted storage/disk space,
you need to be using more than 75% of the current space.
and remove archived files not needed for your website.
such as backups and unwanted files.
you may also need to make a new post requesting this.
as staff may not reply back to older threads.
