My free account has just been suspended with the reason of file hosting zt. I would like to resolve this matter, please advise me what to do and what exactly this rule is. As i recall the only files on my account where an archive with some own pictures from holidays with friends so that they could download them templates and some custom files i created which don't fiolate any copyright laws.

Hello,

Unfortunately we are not a file hosting company, we're a web hosting company, this rule is in regards to any type of file hosting websites which are dedicated to file hosting, or simply just uploading files on there without any active website in relation to the files.

Since there was no serious violations concerning copyrights or anything illegal could my account please be reopened so that i delete any files violating the file hosting rule and proceed with it as a web hosting account only? I understand that we are talking about a policy that should not be open to discussion since there are people hosting adult or illegal material of any kind but in my case that's not the subject.

So if i were to create a full website enabling people to download files such as archives of my notes, exercises, own written apps and in general learning material i have collected or created for my university mates i wouldn't be able to host it? Just asking because i was about to engage into such a project for my own, no intention to argue or anything

Hello,

As long as the files have something to do with direct relations to your website you are ok. So eg, if your an open source software developer and you host download files for your softwares website, this is ok.
