file manager not updating

Hi. I've been trying to create a backup of all my files on my account by going into the File Manager, compressing my files into a zip and downloading. But the zip file never shows up yet it is still taking up space.So I'm sorta stuck there. Can anyone help? Thanks...

Are you saying that you cannot find the zip file in File Manager to download?

Or are you saying that you try to download the zip file and it does not show up on your computer?

I can't find the zip file I made on the file manager so i can download it.
