files disapeared

hi all my files have disapeared and could not find any thing in the forum
so just wanted to check what to do. is it possible from the new work you have been doing
shall i wait to see if they all come back or should i re upload them all.
just wanted to check as a waste of time uploading them all if it still wont work or if they will just come back on there own.
